Police are currently investigating the theft of eight ewes and one ram from the Betton Strange area of Shrewsbury. The theft occurred overnight on Thursday the 21st into Friday the 22nd of October 2021. The following vehicle seen in suspicious circumstances in the Romsley Post Code areas

Staffs DY7 5LH and Shrops. WV15 6HS

The vehicle is a FORD Flatbed truck with large green box on the back, 2 males

Lilleshall Abbey

Officers from the Newport Safer Neighbourhood Team and the West Mercia Rural Crime Team met with a representative from English Heritage at Lilleshall Abbey this morning to discuss ways of working together to tackle heritage crime.

The Abbey site itself is classed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and has been subject recently to several instances of unlawful metal detecting over a number of nights.

Aside from those taking part in the activity not seeking to gain the landowners permission, it is in fact a criminal offence to detect and dig at the site under any circumstances.

Burglary. At NEENTON

A premises in Neenton near Bridgnorth was broken into at around 12:30 / 13:00 hrs on the 15th10.2021.

The elderly victim arrived home to find somebody had gained entry to her property by smashing the glass in the door of her conservatory.

Persons unknown have done an untidy search of the upstairs rooms and taken items of Jewellery these comprised of two rings and a unique looking necklace of which you will see a picture attached.

Two males were seen in the vicinity wearing balaclavas and a black 65 plate Honda CRV was also seen in the area with two males in the vehicle.

We are asking if anybody in the area saw anything suspicious on this day or has anybody got a ring doorbell or CCTV which may have captured anything.
